The system is an electrolytic process for the
on-site generation of sodium hypochlorite
by electrolysis of seawater or brine.
The overall chemical reaction can be
expressed as follows:
2NaOH + Cl2 = NaClO + NaCl + H2O

At the heart of these systems are the
PREMABERGO Electrodes, designed based on
the kg/h of sodium hypochlorite required.
These electrodes are engineered specifically
for the production of hypochlorite.
This is made possible by working with the
choice of materials, current density and
the kinetics of the electrolysis reaction.

APPLICATIONS:
OFF-SHORE PLATFORMS
The Hypochlorite produced is used to
prevent the formation of algae and the
accumulation of organic and biological material
In offshore plants. This helps avoid corrosion
and unwanted accumulations.

POWER STATIONS
The Hypochlorite is used to prevent
the formation and accumulation of biological
material in onshore plants or equipment. Particularly,
to avoid corrosion and interference in the various processes.
